TrueClotTM Blood Simulant is a highly realistic simulated blood that accurately mimics clotting response and provides more realistic simulation training to military and civilian first responders in the use of advanced hemostatic gauzes. When used in combination with our TrueClotTM Simulated Hemostatic Gauze or TrueClotTM Clotting Solution, realistic simulated blood clots can be created for realistic wound packing training as well as for moulage of manikins or live actors.
TrueClotTM Blood Simulant contains no biological products and is safe to use. TrueClotTM Blood Simulant looks and feels like human whole blood, launders from clothing, washes from skin with soap and water and can be disposed of in regular trash. Unlike theater blood (or other cosmetic, moulage or fake blood products) TrueClotTM does not require a thickener additive and will only clot when it is brought into contact with our TrueClotTM Simulated Hemostatic Gauze or Clotting Solution.
TrueClotTM Blood Simulant is available as a pre-mixed solution and TrueClotTM Blood Simulant Concentrate is designed to be reconstituted in water by the end user thereby saving on shipping costs and storage space. When combined with our TrueClotTM Task Trainer, TrueClotTM Blood Simulant creates realistic wound packing scenarios for trauma training of Combat Medics, Police, Firefighters, EMTs and other first responders.
